Shipping policy
Thank you for choosing Fake Plastic Love. This Shipping Policy outlines the terms and conditions that apply to shipping and delivery when you place an order with us. By placing an order, you agree to the terms detailed below.
1. Processing Time
- Made-to-Order Items: All made-to-order pieces require approximately 21 to 60 business days for production prior to dispatch. The specific lead time for each item is available on the respective product page.
- Ready-to-Ship Items: These items will be dispatched within 14 business days after full payment is received.
- Custom/Bespoke Items: Custom orders require a minimum of 60 business days for production before dispatch. The exact timeline depends on the complexity and availability of the item. Full payment is required before shipping.
2. Shipping Methods
We ship worldwide from Hong Kong using the following carriers:
- For Hong Kong Orders: SF Express/JDL
- For International Orders: e-Express+ and Speedpost services via Hong Kong Post.
- For USA Orders: All orders are shipped via EconomiQ Standard (Yun Express).
All shipments include tracking information.
3. Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) for USA Orders
All parcels shipped to the USA via EconomiQ Standard are processed with DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) shipping. This means all applicable customs duties and taxes are covered in the shipping fees you pay at checkout. No extra fees will be collected upon delivery.
4. Delivery Times
Delivery times vary depending on the destination, and delays may occur due to customs processing, postal service disruptions, or other factors beyond our control. Please note that delivery times tend to be longer during major holidays.

- Tracking information may not always be updated in real-time for all destinations.

5. Risk, Damages, & Delays
Once an order is handed over to the shipping provider, the risk of loss and title transfers to the customer. Fake Plastic Love is not liable for parcels that are lost, damaged, or delayed due to carrier handling, customs clearance processes, or events beyond our control.
We ensure accurate customs documentation is provided to facilitate clearance but cannot control delays or actions by customs authorities.
6. Assistance with Locating Lost Packages
If you experience delays, we will provide all relevant tracking information to assist you. However, it is the customer's responsibility to communicate directly with their local postal or delivery service to locate a package, as we cannot contact local entities abroad on your behalf.
7. Compensation for Lost Items
Compensation is only available for items officially declared lost by Hong Kong Post or EconomiQ Standard (Yun Express). An item is typically considered lost if no delivery status is recorded one month after posting.
- Customers must actively monitor tracking and promptly report issues.
- Fake Plastic Love will only send a replacement of the same item(s) after a claim is successfully approved and processed by the carrier, which may take over 8 weeks.
Important: Limited Liability
- No compensation will be provided for items delayed, confiscated, or lost during customs processing.
- No compensation is provided for items returned due to an incorrect/insufficient address or failure to collect.
- Postage fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
8. Claims Process for Lost Items
If your item is declared lost by the carrier, we will assist you in filing a claim. Required documentation typically includes:
- Completed Claim Form & Declaration of Non-Receipt.
- Certificate of Posting.
- Purchase Invoice/Receipt matching the declared value.
- Business Registration Certificate (if applicable).
All claims must be submitted within one to four months of the posting date. Late claims will not be accepted.
9. Customer Responsibilities
By placing an order, you agree to:
- Provide a complete and accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for undeliverable packages due to address errors.
- Understand that customs fees, import duties, and related delays (for non-DDP shipments) are your responsibility.
- Monitor your tracking information and contact your local postal service first if issues arise, while keeping us informed.
10. Returns & Exchanges
We only accept exchanges for items that are faulty. Please contact us within 2 days of receipt with photos of the item and its packaging.
- The replacement will be dispatched after the returned item is received and inspected.
- Returned items must be unworn and in original packaging.
- The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
- We do not accept returns for incorrect sizing, change of mind, or dissatisfaction.
If a package is returned to us as undeliverable, you will be responsible for additional postage costs to re-ship it.
11. Chargeback Policy
We are committed to resolving issues directly. Filing a chargeback before allowing us reasonable time to assist or before a carrier officially declares an item lost is inappropriate and may be contested. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks that violate this policy or our Terms & Conditions.
