The Celestial Full Moon Ring: Wearable Poetry of the Mid-Autumn Festival
Since 2021, it has become a ritual of mine to create an annual collection to celebrate the Mid-Autumn festival. This is the 2025 creation. It is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month when the moon is at its fullest and brightest. In Chinese culture, the full moon symbolizes wholeness and togetherness. On this day, family and friends gather and eat great food, plus moon cakes, and play lanterns together under a full moon.
