"The Swan That Swam the Other Way" Kinetic Memorial Earring

Inspired by a cherished memory from my time living by a German forest, where a swan family raised their babies by the lake. There was always this one baby swan who wouldn't follow the big group and wandered off. 

This three-part earring design captures a moonlit lake, a swan family, and a single wandering cygnet who always swam against the tide. Handcrafted with intricate wax carving and cast in brass, the piece features a kinetic element—one rebellious baby swan glides freely, while a lone star dangles from the crescent moon. This is my tribute to my past, the bits of moments that shape who I am today.
